Felles

A brand project i led. I was design lead on a project for a makerspace in Bergen. Makerspaces are typically niche, something the client sought to challenge.

Strategic research revealed that the space had organically evolved into a community hub and neighborhood institution, beyond its original purpose of being a space for repair and tinkering.

We concluded with an identity overhaul and renaming, with typography and layout rules that bridge the gap between industrial and playful, while pushing imagery from the locale to increase authenticity and reduce hesitation from potential newcomers who are facing a technical, machine-heavy environment for the first time, while not alienating current members.

Chateau
Neuf
